TYPOBOOK
SPRING
A Typo Book to represent the Spring.
Brief
This is a school project. The assignment required me to create a typographic book that recreates a scene using typography.
Solution
The book has four parts, representing the four seasons. In this project, I focused on the Spring section, the cover, and the references. To represent Spring, I chose three literary works. I presented the first page like a letter that Spring sent to humanity. This letter contained three literary works. Each page focused on clearly expressing the content of each poem.

The first poem speaks of the quiet and lonely night, when the plum blossoms in the courtyard still bloom. Therefore, I focused on presenting the scattered letters, showing the poet's illness and unwillingness to be visited, with the phrase "a branch of plum blossoms" standing out against the dark background.

The second poem suggests that spring is not just one season, but is always around us if we pay attention. Therefore, I presented the word "spring" prominently throughout the imagery of the three seasons. Additionally, the poem's tone is cheerful and full of love for spring, so I amplified the curves of the letters, making them appear more passionate.
The third piece is an essay on "Spring Journeys." Therefore, I intentionally created curved letters following the paths, creating the atmosphere of spring spreading throughout the roads.
