DA NANG CITY BRAND IDENTITY
Brand identity with a government website for the new Da Nang city after the province merger in Viet Nam.
Brief
Da Nang has recently become a new city following the merger of Da Nang City with Quang Nam Province. After this merger, city leaders aspire for Da Nang to become a city that develops coastal tourism, preserves and promotes local culture, and is a modern technology center. That is why the city organized a brand identity redesign competition. This is my personal project in response to this competition.
Solution
In this project, I designed the logo, developed the design system, and created images for social media and billboards.
The goal of the new brand identity is to present a youthful and fresh Da Nang city, while still remaining connected to the local culture of the city recently merged with Quang Nam province (the ancient charm of the old houses and the unique lifestyle of the ethnic minority communities in the mountainous region).
